In the public, Still having healthy boy's smile, Leon

Hong Kong star Leon, he came to Korea for promotion of the movie "Chonsamong".
He still has a young boy's image and tenderness.
We interviewed with him at Shilla Hotel on the 12th of Jan. afternoon.
We were surprised at his young looking regardless of his mid thirty age.
He looked a little bit exhausted with non-stop interview all day long, but he did his best to show us his energetic image in spite of fatigue.
Through this interview our stereotyped impression of Leon should be renewed.
He had been shown a vigorous activity through movie and music in Korea for many years.

You sang the theme song of the movie "chonsamong" in Korean lyrics, do you understand the content of it?
I still don't know what that lyric means, actually I don't want to sing this theme song. Singing is singing and acting is acting, I just follow the recommendation for the promotion of the movie "chonsamong".
I'm not sure this song could be involved in the movie or not.

Even you had performed in both action & melodramatic film, you got the popularity of Korean fan through melodramatic movie, how do you expect the response of Korean audience to this action film?
If I concerned that kind of thing, there should be no significance in my performance. That is not the point what I regard to.
I will try to test myself at least in one movie out of ten.
If Chinese audience saw this movie in which I acted as a Korean, they could find the another Leon.
That is the key point why I chose this movie.

Anyway you got the popularity of Korean audience through melodramatic movie such as "Tienmimi" & "Glass of castle"
Whenever I shot movie, I don't think about whether Korean audience like it or not I don't care. If I only showed stereotyped acting, I got sick of it regardless of the response of the audience. I have to diversify my performance for getting "fresh" feeling.

Is there any special reason to do CF, performed Korean movie and sing the theme song of Korean drama in spite of low in guarantee?
> I think I already got a certain achievement in Hong Kong and China. I already covered all kind of magazine published there.
I feel like enjoying the acting, so I can consider this performance to be a kind of entertainment. If I did this performance for the money, I couldn't consider myself to be a human being but as a pair of machine.
I always feel relax here in Korea, it's a sort of a vacation.

Open a new chapter in the CF
You already directed many CFs by yourself.
It represents the psychological state.
I think directing is very helpful to an actor through understanding the director's viewpoint.

If you happened to direct a movie, what kind of movie do you want to make?
I can't talk to you at this moment (smile).
First of all I have to find an investor. I just can say that " movie is a visual art and song is not to be spoken but to be sung"
Like is like, hate is hate And I don't think this kind of interview is helpful for promotion of the movie. The most important thing is actors just do what they should do.

How is it in H.K?
It is just my idea. I don't care about others opinion. Actually after finishing the movie "Tienmimi", I didn't do anything. Maggie Chang also disappeared just after finishing that movie, but she was awarded the best female leading prize.
