1999年6月28日  到訪「樂人谷」與錄廣播劇

今天Leon在1:20pm乘保母車到達商業電台正門，記者由門內衝出，而久候在外的歌迷都突破了防線走進大門前，結果各佔車頭車尾，等待黎明。Leon身穿短袖黑襯衫、白褲，架上墨鏡，下車後向兩方掃望一眼才進門，在記者圍繞之下，就在升降機旁站著脫下墨鏡讓記者拍照後，才乘升降機到直播室接受Vani訪問。

2:35pm訪問完畢後，Leon由後門走到停車場，向閘外歌迷主動揮手，更做一個手勢向香港電台方向指一指然後才上車。在大閘前有歌迷送上東西，已脫下墨鏡的Leon一面接一面在講電話。其後保母車駛離廣播道。

不過Leon的提示並不假，保母車在3:10pm再折返廣播道，駛進香港電台，Leon看見正在等候的歌迷，很開心的揮揮手。下車後，Leon在錄音室後門讓記者拍照，而在進入錄音室前再向歌迷揮手........(心情指數一直上揚啊！)

錄音工作似乎很順利，所以Leon能在預定時間內離開，約5:15pm，Leon從後門出來，歌迷立時大聲叫他，他以微笑揮手回應，上車後就脫下墨鏡。保母車駛到大門時，當然又受到歌迷的歡叫，Leon也不斷回應歌迷，然後才離去。

28 June, 1999  Interview with CR2 + RTHK Radio Drama

At 1.20pm, Leon arrived at Commercial Radio HQ. Journalists immediately rushed to Leon and fans on the other side ran towards Leon too. Thus, journalists were at the rear of the van while fans occupied the front part! Leon was wearing a short sleeve black shirt, white trousers and was wearing sunglasses. When he descended from the van, Leon looked to and fro before he walked into the building. Since the media surrounded Leon, Leon took off his sunglasses and let them take photographs before he arrived in the live studio to do the interview with Vani.

At 2.35pm, the interviewed ended, Leon went to the car park via the rear entrance. He signaled the fans at the gate to the direction of RTHK HQ and then hopped onto his van. Leon was talking on the phone while he accepts gifts from the fans (he took off his sunglasses too!)

Leon's signal was correct since Leon returned to Broadcast road to RTHK to record his radio drama. When Leon saw the awaiting fans, Leon was very happy and waved to them. Leon let the journalists to take photos of him before he went in to the recording studio, and before he entered, he waved to fans too... (his moods is at peak!!!)

The recording was very successful and it was all within schedule and at around 5.15pm, Leon emerged from the rear door and fans immediately screamed to him. Leon replied to the fans, happily and then left ! (webmaster: Sorry about the delay! Leon was recording a radio drama for RTHK "Happy Person" and it will be broadcast around one week from now)

1999年6月25-26日  慈善演出 + 回港

MJ Charity Show在 25/6 韓國時間 6:30pm開始，Leon那一節就安排在8:20pm表演。Leon先唱一首韓語的「我這樣愛你」，在坐觀眾反應很熱烈，再以英語唱一首快歌「Sugar In the Marmalade」，由Eugene以小提琴拌奏，雖然這是一首新歌，不過在場一些韓國觀眾也熱烈得站起來。

可惜韓國電視台轉播時段，8:00-8:50pm因新聞報導而暫停，所以期間的表演加插在及後的環節之間播出，Leon的「Sugar In the Marmalade」尾段被刪去了.....(正如Leon所說，為了善事，不用計較什麼啦！)

Leon在26/6早上10:00am前抵達漢城機場準備離去，心情很好，入禁區前和送機的韓國歌迷揮手說Good-bye，還有跟她們開開玩笑。

航班準時在1:35pm著陸香港，歌迷早已菌集在接機大堂等候，再加上非常多看熱鬧的人群，所以禁區欄外特別擠。約1:50pm，看見Leon由B閘自動門走出，大家不禁歡呼，Leon身穿深藍短袖Tee，胸前有一個彩藍色不規則圖案，配藍色牛仔褲，戴上綠色框邊墨鏡，在玻璃牆內看見歌迷後，面上浮現少許笑容，一面走一面向三面歌迷摺摺手，欄邊又有很多看熱鬧的青少年，他們向Leon拍照，Leon也稍稍站著讓他們拍，在出禁區欄之前，忽然有一包東西拋在Leon身後，Leon以為是從上層掉下來的，所以舉頭張望，有個在欄邊的歌迷就示意是她送的禮物，Leon望她一望，呼一口氣，轉身去把「禮物」拾起來再交給子泉。

Leon出了欄杆後，歌迷立刻湧上，在護衛和工作人員開路下，Leon也一面接信一面走向自動電梯，面上掛著笑容，當中有位空中小姐在一片混亂中要求Leon簽名，Leon示意這個環境下無法答應。上了電梯，Leon對站在他眼前的兩個歌迷笑著說 : 「你地 (指所有自動電梯上的歌迷)行快幾步先啦！」，這兩個歌迷就轉身向擠在前頭的歌迷傳話，並且乖乖的向上行。這時電梯下也有途人大叫和Leon打招呼，Leon也有向下望望作出回應。

到了電梯頂，有個記者立定拍照，堵塞了離開電梯的人群，做成小小擠塞，Leon走出電梯後，就輕聲叫歌迷不要擠。大家緩緩走上斜路，這時有幾個男孩子追在人群中，興奮地說 : 「返屋企要同阿媽講我地見到Leon呀！」，也有一個打扮趨時的少女站在Leon左手後，不斷示意朋友為她拍「合照」！

就在走出機場大樓前，可能遇到踫撞問題，有個歌迷大叫一聲，Leon就輕聲說「你們唔好嘈」，然後又望望歌迷群，微微點頭後又開步。

Leon和子泉上了保母車後，車門立刻關上，這時王凱文才擠出人群，車門為他再開，車門正要再關上時，Leon垂下墨鏡向車外望，歌迷叫著「還有一個！」，讓一個幫忙拿著大袋、花束，嬌滴滴的女工作人員上車，車子才駛離。

25th&26th June 1999  Leon performed in MJ Show and returned HK

The Michael Jackson Charity Concert began on 25th June at 6.30pm Korean time. Leon's preformance was scheduled on 8.20pm. Leon sang the Korean version of " I love you this way" and he received an excellent response from the crowd. Then he sang the english version of "Sugar In The Marmalade" and the Korean violinist Eugene Park played alongside him. Although this is a new song, but the Korean audience loved it!

It was a pity that when broadcast on Korean TV , between 8.00pm-8.50pm was for the news, thus Leon's preformance was put at the highlights and Leon's "Sugar in the Marmalade" ending was edited.... (as Leon said, he doesnt mind at all, as long as it is for charity!)

Early 26th June, at 10.00am Leon prepare to leave for HK, he was in a very good mood and before he went into customs, he waved to the Korean fans and said Goodbye.

His flight arrived at HK at 1.35pm. There was a large crowd of fans there. Because the airport was very busy, the arrival hall was very congested. At around 1.50pm, Leon stepped out of gate B and everyone was screaming! Leon was wearing a navy tee shirt (with a blue print in the front), blue jeans and was wearing green sunglasses. When he saw the fans from the glass window inside, he put on a cute smile. As he walked, he was waving to the fans on the three sides. There were a lot of youths aside and they were taking photos of Leon! Leon stood politely and let them take as many as they want. Before he left the customs, suddenly there was a parcel thrown to him. Leon was thought it was thrown to him from upabove so he looked up, then a fan from the fence beside him said that it was from them. Leon let out a sigh and gave"the present" it to Chi Chuen.

As he left the arrival, fans began to rush to him, and he needed the help of security to open the road ahead. Leon, receiving letters etc from fans as he walked towards the escalators with a smile on his face! When an air hostess asked for his autograph, Leon expresses to her under this circumstance, there was no way he could write! As he was on the escalators, he smiled to two fans ahead of him and said " Please walk faster la!" (and he pointed to those ahead of him) The words were passed on and the fans immediately gave way. Those at the lower floor screamed up to Leon to say Hello, and Leon looked down and smiled to them.

As the top of the escalator, a journalist stood to take a photo of Leon, and this caused some congestion to those coming up behind them. Leon on the way constantly tell fans not to distrub others and move along. As they were on the slope, some male youths said " I have to tell my Mother that I saw Leon!!!" A girl fan who dressed quite trendy keep asking her friend to take pics of her and Leon!!

As they reached outside, there were some bumping (due to conjestion) and a fan screamed out and Leon silently said " shuh! Please be quiet!" He looked at fans and then nodded to them!

Leon and Chi Chuen got on to the van and then the door had to be open again for Wong Hoi Man. As the door closed again, Leon slided down his sunglasses to look outside and fans said " Wait. Another One to Come!" There was a small female staff holding a lot of flowers etc. When she got on to the van, then the van sped off.

1999年6月24日  往韓國出席慈善演出 + 到達漢城機場

Leon今早赴韓國出席25/6舉行之米高積遜慈善籌款匯演，機場除了歌迷在等候外，大約有二十名記者也在場。保母車在9:40am到達讓子泉下車辦理登機手續後駛離，再在9:50am回來，髮型師Sev下車後，B仔也到車尾取東西，仍在車上的Leon已向歌迷揮手打打招呼！王凱文和Leon相繼下車，Leon還用手掌慢慢對準B仔的手掌捉下去......(這次不是Give Me Five了！)

Leon身穿鮮豔Tee (前面是橙色，後面藍色，兩面都有一抹黃色由左向右下掃，配深啡色短袖)、深藍褲腳開叉Jeans、黑鞋、墨鏡，手上拿著一件深色外套，今天心情好，面色也好，而且左頰上那顆豆豆已剛癒。由於遇上紅燈和大巴士，Leon要站在路旁等候過馬路。

過了馬路後，歌迷開始大混戰，送禮物、送信、送紅封包....到了斜路盡頭，還對著一字橫排的記者擋路，當中更有記者急不及待的衝上來加入歌迷堆，所以開始有些踫撞，歌迷有見及此，就散開讓記者們拍照。雖然如此，單是記者混戰搶拍照，比歌迷堆還更亂！不過Leon面上還是保持微笑！

直到禁區口，歌迷就跟Leon說Bye-bye，Leon進了禁區後也向歌迷揮手bye-bye，過了海關，Leon轉過身來等候子泉.....(讓歌迷可以看到他啊！)，也不忘向歌迷揮手，再過了X-ray機後，Leon又在等子泉揹背袋時，向歌迷揮手再見.....(心情真的非常好呀！)

Leon約3:30pm(Korea Time)到達漢城機場，由於機場接機大堂早有四五十個拿著Leon名牌及大Banner的韓國歌迷在等候，因此警方大為緊張，加強了戒備，於是Leon還未出禁區，就已經有守衛包圍保護他一直走出機場，這種做法使本來輕輕鬆鬆的Leon有點不自然。

雖然受眾人包圍，當Leon在接機大堂看到前來接機的韓國歌迷，還是微笑和她們揮手，並且親自接收歌迷送上的兩束花。

晚上Leon到表演場地綵排，大會在安排上有點不當，不過Leon表現得很大方，表示為慈善出力不用計較。

24th June 1999   Travel to Korea

Leon today began his journey to Korea to participate in Michael Jackson's charity concert on the 25th June. At the airport, apart from the fans, there was a large media presence. His van arrived at the airport at 9.40am and Chi Chuen got off first to check in. The van then returned at 9.50am, and Sev Tsang (Leon's hair stylist) first got off and then Ah Bee got the luggage ready. Leon waved to the fans while he was still on the van. Then, Wong Hoi Man and Leon both descended from the van. Leon, as usual, did his "hand gesture" with Ah Bee, but this time, in slow motion!! ... (this time, it is not "give me five"!!)

Leon was wearing a very bright colour tee shirt (the front is orange, back is blue and the two side is a yellow colour from left down to the right, with brown sleeves!). He was wearing a dark blue flair jeans, black shoes and sunglasses. He has a jacket in his hands and Leon was in an extremely good mood. His complexion looks very healthy too and his little "spots" seems to be on the heal!! Because of the traffic, Leon had to wait a little before he can cross the road.

When he crossed the road, there was some confusion between the fans.. all began to give presents, letters, red pockets etc etc. and they reached the end of the slope, fans and Leon were faced with a line of journalists. Soon, some of these journalists joined in with the crowd in order to get closer to Leon. During all this confusion, Leon still maintain a bright smile on his face.

As Leon reached the customs, fans said goodbye to Leon and as Leon walked in, he waved back to the crowd. Leon was waiting for Chi Chuen to pass the x rays in the customs... and continued to wave goodbye to the fans (Leon was in an extremely pleasant mood!)

Leon arrived in Seoul Airport at 3.30pm Korea time. In the arrival hall, there were around 40-50 fans holding Leon banners waiting to greet Leon. The Korean police were extremely cautious, and even before Leon stepped out, the airport were well protected. This made the relaxed Leon more tensed! Although he was surrounded by fans, when he saw the large crowd of fans, he replied with a smile and waving to them. He politely accepted the flowers given to him by Korean fans!

When Leon was rehearsing on the stage, there were some mix up and Leon was delayed but he didn't mind at all! he said that for charity, he is prepare for all hardship.

1999年6月23日  太陽計劃科技文明日

太陽計劃是香港電台每年暑假的青少年重點活動，今年的主題曲「新力量」由Puffy、李玟和Leon合唱，今天他們就當上開幕典禮的表演嘉賓。

Leon fans為了爭取較前位置，在早上8:00am就來到九龍公園排隊，而數名遠道而來的韓國歌迷也在10:00am到來排隊！至中午過後，人群越來越多，有很多沒有票的人知道Leon將要作表演，索性在公園外圍找定一個好位置等待。

電台方面的安排也很嚴謹，DJ們今早一直在綵排，到了一時多，綵排到Leon的部份，大會就播出Leon的歌曲，這時人們聽到Leon的歌已經起哄，連在不遠處的公眾游泳池的泳客也以為Leon到了，站起來爭相觀望。

約在2:30pm，觀眾持票入場，那些佔得好位置的香港歌迷也厚待海外歌迷，讓她們站到欄杆旁邊較好的位置 ~~ 歌迷之間互相幫忙才是啊！今天的記者也非常多，都擠在前排爭取好位置，坐在前排的兩個觀眾就驚訝地說 : 黎明果然厲害，平常的活動那有這麼多人、這麼多記者啊！

活動準時在3:00pm開始，先由puffy、李玟和Leon唱出主題曲，然後由主禮嘉賓致辭和太陽使者宣誓，作為開幕儀式。Leon身穿太陽計劃Tee、淺杏色褲、白鞋、載上紅框墨鏡，手上一個長型白色電子錶，聯同主禮嘉賓、表演嘉賓及太陽使者一起宣誓。

在李玟及Puffy演過後，Leon約在3:50pm出台，表演「摔碟」，不過不用他動手，而是他從日本請來了Thomas King幫他的忙。Thomas King一面「摔」，Leon一面跳舞，很好看哩！其後由Thomas King「摔碟」拌奏下，Leon唱出「酸」。Leon很開心，曾一度下台想走近站在旁邊的歌迷，不過人群太擠了，Leon和歌迷打過招呼就走回台上了。接著Leon唱出 Sugar in the Marmalade，由 Thomas King來Rap，非常生動。最後，Leon唱出動人心弦的「從今開始」，結束表演。

司儀在活動完結前，請Leon聽機械人講解今年太陽計劃的活動內容，然後再請所有嘉賓和太陽使者上台大合照，有嘉賓更叫Leon簽名哩！

Leon約在4:25pm坐保母車離開，保安和警察早就戒備，也難掩歌迷的熱情，Leon也開心地向歌迷揮手，大批歌迷一邊圍著保母車慢行、一面叫Leon、Leon.....(有個保安很攪笑，叫歌迷不斷「保持同車速一樣向前行」！) ，結果在警方封鎖了柯士甸道讓保母車出來的同時，歌迷也由九龍公園出口一直追至兩個紅綠燈位後才目送Leon離開。

23 June, 1999  Solar Project of RTHK2

Solar Project is RTHK's annual event for youths of Hong Kong. This Years theme is "New Energy" and will be sang by Japanese Pop duo Puffy, Taiwan's Coco Lee and Leon. Today they performed the theme song in the opening ceremony.

Leon fans began to queue for good seats as early as 8.00am in Kowloon Park. A couple of Korean Leon fans also arrived at 10.00am. At noon, the crowds began to build up. A lot of people without tickets also gathered outside the park in order to get a good view of Leon.

The security organized by RTHK was very intense. When the DJ's finishing rehearsing and at around 1.00pm, came Leon's rehearsal, and Leon songs were broadcast. When the crowd heard Leon songs, chaos was beginning! In the swimming pool nearby, people thought Leon was performing, and all stood up to look!! at 2.30pm, those with tickets began to enter the park and those fans who had better views give way to overseas fans so that they can have a better view! (Fans helping each other is a great sign!) The media presence was very strong today, all trying to have a good position to shoot photos (of Leon of course!) Two people who sat in the front rows gasped at the media and commented that : the power of Leon, as normal events wouldn't have so much media!!

The ceremony began at 3.00pm. First, Puffy, Coco and Leon sang the theme song and other normal procedures were preformed. Leon was wearing the solar project tee shirt, with a light peach trousers, white shoes and was wearing his red edge sunglasses. He was wearing a long white watch. Leon, together with other guests made their promise to the solar project.

After Puffy and Coco preformed, Leon was on the stage at 3.50pm, performing his "scratching" skills. But he didn't have to do it, because Leon invited Thomas King from Japan to help him. While Thomas was "scratching", Leon was dancing! (very good skills!). Then Leon sang "Sour" while Thomas was scratching! Leon seemed to be very happy. He even went to shake hands with the audience in the front row. Because the crowd was too enormous, Leon just briefly went down and then went back up on the stage. Leon then sang "Sugar In The Marmalade" while Thomas did the rap. Finally, Leon sang the incredible sweet loving song of " From Now " to end his performance.

When the show ended, a grand photo was taken and some of the guest asked Leon for an autograph! Leon left at around 4.25pm. The police and security had expected some congestion and was ready for the fans! As Leon waved happily to the fans, the police were busy trying to avoid any accidents. The police had to block off Austin Road in order for Leon's van to get through. The fans accompanied Leon to the traffic lights before seeing the van sped off.

1999年6月19日  黎明家族聚會簡報 + 熱浪Wave Party

今天是香港黎明家族聚會的大日子，而日本、台灣、韓國及其他地區也有歌迷前來參與，氣氛非常熱鬧。聚會前半部是各地派出代表參加「家族之男、家族之女」比賽，過程非常惹笑，結果由香港代表奪得。

Leon在9:45pm來到台前和歌迷見面，身穿淺啡色無袖套裝、啡色皮鞋。Leon今天心情極佳，會中和歌迷開開心心地對答，又唱了幾首歌，其中包括Sugar In The Marmalade，而前半部全是用英文唱出的。Leon直至場地最後時限11:15pm才走回後台。由於這是家族聚會，並不對外開放，網主也不便將會中情況詳細公開.......(唯一可以告訴台灣歌友的 ~~ 問過Leon誰是國語專輯的監製，答 : 秘密！)

Leon大約在11:20pm離開高山劇場，上了保母車後，把車廂中小燈開了，不斷和歌迷打招呼，直至保母車出了高山公園才關燈，車子才直駛往Wave Party場地 ~~ 九龍灣國際展貿中心。在場過千歌迷也立刻趕乘「的士」前住，做成交通擠塞！

Wave Party的司儀李志剛在12:05am介紹Leon和Mark Lui一同出台，為四個Disco DJ評分，結果不相伯仲，四位都有獎，由Leon和Mark頒獎。Leon的服飾和家族聚會的一樣，只多戴了一對墨鏡。

此時大會放映Leon將在下星期一播放的廣告片.....(很好看啊！)，Leon說當中最難的是學駕駛Air Boat。其後又播了廣告的製作特輯。

最後，司儀請了四位女仕參加「勁舞Dancing Queen」的比賽，由Leon和Mark負責「打碟」和「摔碟」，Leon興之所至更和參賽者一同跳舞。頒過獎後，Leon約在12:45am離台了。他是到後台接受記者訪問，直至1:40am才離開。

19 June, 1999   Leon Family Party + Hutchison Wave Party

Today is Leon Family Meet, and fans from Japan, Taiwan, Korea and many other countries came specially to HK to join into this event. The first part of the "party" is where different area had a candidate to compete for "Family's Girl" and "Family's Boy" and the atmosphere was very friendly and humorous. The candidate from HK won in the end.

Leon arrived at the party at 9.45pm, wearing a beige sleeveless suit with beige shoes. Leon was in an extremely good mood, and happily answered all questions asked by the fans. He sang a couple of songs including "Sugar In The Marmalade" and he sang English lyrics for the first part of the song! Leon left at around 11.15pm. Because this is a Leon Family Meet, it is strictly a private affair, so we cannot disclose any more details. (But we can tell Taiwan Fans, when asked who will be his Mandarin CD producer, Leon said it was a secret!)

Leon left at around 11.20pm. When he got onto the van, he switched on the inside light and waved to all fans there. Leon's van then headed towards the Wave Party arena.. Kowloon International Convention Centre. At the same time, all the fans in the party there also made way towards the same place, thus causing a massive traffic jam!

The commentator for the wave party, Lee Chi Kwong introduced Leon and Mark Lui at 12.05am. Leon and Mark acted as the judge to the four disco DJs. Both Leon and Mark opted for prizes for all! Leon didn't change his clothes but he did put on a pair of sunglasses.

Leon's latest commercial was then broadcast for all to see! (an excellent footage!) Leon said that the hardest part was to learn how to ride the airboat. Then some production clips was showed.

Finally, the commentator invited four ladies to compete for the "Dancing Queen" award. Leon left to go backstage at around 12.45am. He was then interviewed by the media and left the arena at 1.40am.

1999年6月8日  明報四十週年酒會

明報為慶祝四十週年紀念，今天下午六時至八時在香港會議展覽中心舉行酒會，廣邀各界人仕出席。

Leon約在6:10pm乘坐保母車到達，僅在特首董建華之前，眾多正在等候的歌迷一看見保母車，就已經由中心大堂走出門外迎接，而所有記者都擠到前排舉起相機，什至包括電視台攝錄機，做成極大的哄動。

Leon下車時，被極多歌迷及記者包圍著，不過他的心情和面容都很好，鎂光燈閃過不停，因此大伙兒慢慢「蠕動」很久，Leon才能走上電動樓梯，陪同他的有小清、子泉和天恩。Leon到達二樓接待大堂時，仍受到在場記者相機熱切對待，才走進正式會場。

會場內政治、經濟、娛樂各界知名人仕匯集，少了歌迷簇擁叫喊，卻一樣受人注目，Leon身穿極深藍平腳外套式襯衫，配同色闊腳牛仔褲、黑色薄底皮鞋，射燈下髮色微帶啡紅。Leon進門不久就與其他到賀嘉賓們寒喧一番，接著「肥姐」沈殿霞走到Leon身旁和他傾談甚歡，其後Leon除了不斷被在場賓客要求拍照外，他也相繼和文雋夫婦、張文新、鄭丹瑞等電台人閒談，接著譚詠麟和陳友到場，Alan立刻和Leon有說有笑。

談了一會已經是6:30pm，慶祝會儀式正式舉行，台上有特首董建華先生和明報董事們，Leon和Alan等被安排在台下「特區」觀禮，先是播放大約六分鐘介紹片段，然後是明報主席致詞，至6:40pm完畢。到賀嘉賓開始用茶點或傾談，此時有意和Leon合照的賓客紛紛提出要求，Leon也開開心心的答應，有一次拍照時，Leon更緊張的走到攝影者前面為他打開「傻瓜機」的鏡頭，至6:45pm，Leon作勢離去，不過不斷有賓客和他合照而他也不斷「發現」相熟圈中朋友、拍合照......。

先是劉嘉玲，Leon和她合照後，又看見站在面前的吳啟華，三個人又來合照，拍照前Leon看到文雋和羅嘉慧，Leon開玩笑式的硬要拉他們一起來拍，不過文雋夫婦婉拒了。三人拍照時Leon本來站中間的，他發覺不妥當，就叫劉嘉玲站中間，他跟劉嘉玲真的很相熟，所以不避嫌的雙手撘在她坦露的雙肩上挪動她站二人中間！

拍照後，幾位高貴的太太 (包括趙曾學蘊女士) 走來問Leon可否賞面合照，今夜Leon當然不會推搪，拍照後Leon還和比較相熟的趙太揮手Bye-bye，太太們離去後，忽然陳寶珠拖著羅文走過來，寶珠姐姐開聲跟Leon說話 (好像是謝謝他到場欣賞她的舞台劇)，Leon有點受寵若驚的，先用雙手拉一下縐縐的衫腳，再雙手互握、必恭必敬的回話然後拍照。兩人傾談了差不多兩分鐘，其間梅豔芳到場，在他們後面走過也不被發覺！

大會公關不斷叫賓客把握時間和Leon拍照，他和寶珠姐的對話也因此中斷了。後來Leon終於看到站在不遠處應酬著別人的楊崢 (女model，MTV拍檔)，大家見了面很開心，Leon和她說話時雙手更有大動作.......啊，看到他那條牛仔褲的右後袋上竟然繡有橙色SONY字樣！

Leon又著楊崢和他一起去寶珠姐那一堆人中，這時梅豔芳在這群人當中，Leon看到了就立刻和她打招呼。跟著是大合照.....越加越多人的大合照，當公關大姐再拉進古巨基時，剛好Leon正要離開，拍拍古巨基肩膊說再見。走不了兩步 (已近門口)，遇上剛來到的陳小春和鄭伊健，匆匆的和他倆打個招呼，在助手們的簇擁下離開。

當Leon的人影出現在二樓自動電梯前，在樓下守候的歌迷已大聲歡呼了！Leon徐徐由電梯走下來，記者和歌迷爭相擁前，Leon幾經辛苦才能走上保母車，那種哄動並非其他明星可比，也令站在不遠處候車的肥姐笑不攏咀。Leon上車後，很開心的和歌迷揮手再見，保母車慢慢駛下斜路，歌迷也跟著相送。直至離開了展覽中心出口，又遇上紅燈必須停車，數位歌迷楔而不捨追上，Leon又笑著揮手後才開車離去，離開時約7:00pm。

8th June 1999   Ming Pao 40th Anniversary Gala

To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, Ming Pao held a cocktail party at 6pm-8pm in HK Convention Centre today. Guests from all different background was invited to attend.

Leon arrived in the party at 6.10pm, just arrived before Mr. Tung Chee Wah. Once the fans there saw Leon's van, they all rushed from the centre to greet Leon outside. The scene was chaotic since fans, journalists, TV crewman etc were all trying to catch a glimpse of Leon.

As Leon descended from the van, he was surrounded by fans and journalists but Leon was in an extremely good mood so he didn't seem to mind one bit. Flash lights were flashing non stop and Leon can only moved very slowly through the crowds towards the escalators. Siu Ching, Chi Chuen and Tin Yan accompanied Leon. As Leon reached the second floor lobby, he was greeted by awaiting media and of course, many many cameras!

Inside the party, politicians, economists and entertainers were among the guests. Although there were no fans present inside, yet Leon still cause much attention. Leon was wearing navy top, matching boot-leg jeans, black shoes and his hair showed a tint of copper under the spotlight. The first person Leon talked to was Sum Tin Ha ( 肥姐). After a brief chat, Leon was asked to pose for numerous photographs with different guest. Leon was also seen chatting to Manfred Wong (Man Chun) and his wife, Cheng Dang Shui, Cheung Man Shan (Radio Executives). As Alan Tam and Friend Chan arrived, Alan and Leon were chatting very friendly.

The gala official celebration began at 6.30pm. On stage, Mr. Tung Chee Wah and Ming Pao executives began their speech. Both Alan and Leon was in the designated audience area. Firstly, a 6 minute short film was shown, then followed the speech made by the Ming Pao Executives. At 6.40pm, it ended and guests were served tea etc. This is when all the "socialising" began. Nearly every one there wanted a photo with Leon. Of Course, Leon happily agreed! When they were taking one of the photographs, Leon was very helpful to the photographer in that he helped him to open his lenses! At 6.45pm, Leon looks like was about to leave but guests keep requesting Leon for more photos, Leon also "discovered" many of his friends there and greeting, chatting and soon more and more photos!

Firstly was Carina Lau. After taking photograph with her, and then both saw Lawrence Ng. naturally all three posed for more photos. Leon saw Manfred Wong and his wife there and invited them to join in to the photo but they politely declined. Leon was standing in the centre when taking the photo was Lawrence and Carina but he felt that Carina should be in the centre so he asked her to stand in the centre. It can be seen that Leon and Carina are really good friends as he openly put his hand onto her shoulders as she was standing in the centre!

Many photos later, some ladies there (including Mrs. Chiu Tsang Hok Wun) asked Leon if they can take a photograph together. Leon, with no hesitation, posed for more photos with them. Leon said goodbye to Mrs. Chiu(whom he knew well) as they finished the photos. After that, Ms. Chan Bo Chu arrived on the scene with Roman Tam. Ms. Chan started to talk to Leon ( thanking him for attending her drama). Leon was a bit shocked at this stage (too spoilt!) as he began to fiddle his sleeve! Leon been very respectful towards Ms. Chan, stood politely as they posed for more photos! They were talking for around two minutes and they didn't even noticed when Anita Mui walked behind them!

Since a lot of guests wanted a photo with Leon, Leon's conversation with Ms. Chan was cut short. In the near distance, Leon saw his old MTV model, Yeung Tsang and both were very happy to see each other again! Leon's hand gestures was moving rapidly and he lifted up his hand, wah... on the right back pocket of his jeans, we can see an orange colour "SONY" sowed on!!!

Soon, Leon and Yeung Tsang went into the crowd of Ms Chan and as soon as Leon spotted Anita Mui in the crowd, he immediately went over to say Hello. Then came the grand photo... everyone posed! As Leon was leaving, he said hello to the incoming Leo Koo. he patted him on the shoulders and said goodbye. Two more steps towards the exit, he met Ekin Cheng and Chan Siu Chun in the corridor. he briefly greeted them and was led away by Chi Chuen etc, sliding among the crowds.

As Leon emerged from the escalators from the second floor, the awaiting fans there let off a huge scream! Leon surrounded by journalists and crowds, finally managed to get back to his van! Although there were many superstars there, undoubtedly Leon caused the most attention! Even Ms. Sum (肥姐) was gasping at his popularity. Leon waved to all his fans from inside and as the van slowly went down the slope of the convention centre, fans accompanied also. As they reached the exit, the van stopped at the red light. A couple of fans ran after the van and Leon smiling, waved to them and then the van sped off. Leaving time was around 7.00pm.

1999年5月30日  萬眾同心公益金

今天是本年度公益金的壓軸籌款活動，TVB廠內除了觀眾席外，亦設有五圍酒席款待公益金主席團，而今晚所邀的紅星自然特別多，Leon的表演項目可說是貫穿整個節目，共籌得港幣三百五萬，不過他面對前輩時仍保持著一份謙恭之心，而不論台上台下，Leon都表現得很開心。

節目開始時，Leon唱了他為公益金三十週年而作的主題曲「最美時光」，穿的是墨綠窄身西裝配淺藍色襯衣，公益金主席團成員也和Leon平排而站，為他拍掌和應。唱畢時Leon身旁的董特首夫人就對Leon說了幾句話，接著眾司儀出場，主席團應該就座而Leon就要離場，不過主席團成員何鴻燊博士及眾人都接踵來跟Leon寒喧一番，其後Leon就趕到另一表演場地 ~~ 將軍澳東港城。

這處早已聚滿了人群，有票的就在台下分成四區而站，一群熱情忠心的歌迷早在下午三時已到達輪候進場，至七時各區已站得滿滿的。圍欄外則擠滿看熱鬧的人，商場三層樓的圍欄都站了數重人群，這絕對是電視畫面看不到的熱烈。

約8:20pm，先由司儀蔡康年和姚樂怡介紹由「大聯盟卡拉OK」主席頒$HK1,300,000的支票給公益金代表余錦基先生。儀式完成後，Leon就徐徐由自動電梯從地庫停車場上來到達後台再進入一個小房間內，伴隨的有陳善之、小青、子泉、B仔、王凱文、阿佳等，不過Leon並沒有任何歇息時間，隨即在司儀的介紹下、歌迷的叫喊之下步上台前，和人群一起唱出「酸」。Leon唱歌時常常對台下群眾點頭揮手。

歌唱完畢後，Leon站台上和司儀一起看南華會方面的宣傳片段，然後回到後台準備離去，不過記者們叫著Leon，請他再往台上拍照，為了遷就鏡頭能拍下眾多人群，Leon還蹲下來哩！

約在9:55pm，Leon再乘保母車回到TVB電視城，這次他換了保藍襯衫和藍色西裝、結上領帶，好帥啊！下車時Leon向歌迷開心地揮手，更很惹笑地一面背著歌迷走進錄影廠，一面用手在背後向歌迷猛揮！

Leon在善長捐贈一百萬之下唱出新歌「從今開始」......(實在太動聽了！)，不久節目完畢，眾歌星藝員心台謝幕，Leon很有風度的拖著凌波小姐，又謙讓凌波小姐站前，不過可能是安排關係，不久凌小姐又站回Leon左側(右側才靠近中央)，不管凌大姐還是Leon，都明白只要是閃亮人物，站哪裡也一樣受觸目嘛！

在11:00pm，Leon在眾人陪同下上了保母車，在銀影路等候的歌迷就到閘口等，當保母車來到閘口時，Leon在車內向眾人揮手直至車駛出了閘口，不過歌迷就開口嫌看不見Leon的臉，不知是剛好遇上還是Leon真的感應到，他即時伸出右手向上開車內小燈、同時左手揮動。歌迷見到開心地笑的Leon立刻開心雀躍囉！嘩聲一出，Leon早有此一著，左手擺到咀上 "殊"，然後右手就機動性地將燈關掉。保母車就離開了。

30th May 1999   Community Chest Donation Show

Today is the last event of this year's Community Chest Donation. Inside TVB studio, apart from the audience, there were five dining tables consisting of Community Chest executives. The cast tonight consisted many superstars, and Leon's performance helped to raise HKD3.5m. Leon, as per usual, acted very modest infront of the elders. No matter on or off the stage, Leon was very happy!

As the start of the show, Leon sang the theme song that he composed for community chest "A beautiful time". He was wearing a dark green suit with a matching blue shirt. The community chest executives stood in line with Leon and they were clapping with the rhythm of the song. Mrs. Tung ( HK Chief Administrator's wife) was beside Leon and she spoke couple of words with Leon. As the CM of the night emerged, the executives should sit back while Leon has to go to the other event, But Prof Ho Hung San and others had to chat to Leon before they let him go! Immediately, Leon had to sped off to the other venue of the night- Cheung Kwan O's East HK City.

Switching venue, there were already a huge crowd waiting there. Those who had tickets, were allocated to four different zones. Some of the fans had been waiting there since 3.00pm, in order to get a good position! By 7.00pm, the entire shopping centre was full! There were also a lot of spectators on the three floors of the shopping centre just waiting to catch a glimpse! The atmospheres there were unbelievable that sadly, on TV, cannot be seen.

At around 8.20pm, the CM there, introduced "Karaoke Big Union", whom had raised funds of HKD1.3m. They presented the cheque to Mr. Tsui Kam Gey (The Community Chest rep). As the ceremony finished, Leon was on his way from the escalator to the back stage to get ready. With him tonight, was Joe (his manager), Siu Ching, Chi Chuen, Ar Bee, Wong Hoi Man (Sony executive) and Ar Guy. Leon didnt have any time to rest, Leon was hushed on to stage by cheers and screaming from the fans and the crowds. Leon was singing "Sour" with all the people there. As Leon was singing, he was constantly waving and nodding to the crowd.

As the singing ended, Leon was on the stage watching his swimming preview. Just as Leon was about to leave, journalists asked him to stay to take some photos. In order to let the crowds into the photo, Leon voluntarily kneeled down!

At 9.55pm, Leon again sped off to the live show. This time, he changed to a royal blue suit and tie, very formal and very Handsome! As he descended from the van, he was waving to the awaiting fans! as Leon was running into the studio, his hands was at his back waving to the crowd!

A donator donated HKD1m for Leon to sing and Leon sang his new song "Begins From Now" ... (what a beautiful song!). As the live show ended, all the stars there tonight went onto the stage to say goodbye. Leon, being such a gentleman, held the hand of Ms.Ling Bo, and modestly let Ms. Ling to stand in front of him. Due to the pre-arranged position, Ms. Ling soon stood to the right of Leon(to his left was the center). both Ms. Ling and Leon are fully aware that no matter where you stand, the cameras will always chase after you!

At 11.00pm, Leon returned to his van. At the nearby lane, fans were waiting for him at the gates. As his van arrived at the gates, Leon waved to the crowd from within. Leon and fans obviously are heart-to-heart, as soon as it was mentioned that they couldnt see Leon, Leon turned on the light inside the van to let fans have a clearer view. Fans were so happy when they are it and as the fans screamed and "wahhhhh", Leon put his finger on his lips and mimed "shuh!" and used his other hand to switch off the light. The van drove off then.
