2000年1月27日  飛北京參加Channel-V頒獎禮

Leon今天乘12:20pm起飛的中國航空班機到北京參加頒獎禮。

歌迷早就到了機場等候，直至11:08am，保母車駛來，車內的Leon一看到外面等候的歌迷，已開心得主動揮手，同時則子泉下車和Stanley一同到航空公司柜位為Leon辦理登機手續，保母車載Leon暫時離去。

辦好手續後，保母車在11:25am讓Leon下車，Leon上身是大家都非常熟識的白色扭花毛衫及臉上那副剛在百萬行亮過相的超大淺綠太陽眼鏡，下身則是深啡色闊腳褲配黑皮鞋。今天Leon的心情特別好，下車後有歌迷隔住馬路大叫他 : 「早晨！」Leon也立刻笑著回應。過了馬路Stanley等人就圍護著Leon朝向禁區慢行。

由於歌迷都感到Leon心情愉快，都爭相和他攀談，而Leon無論有沒有在言語上回答，都會用眼神和笑臉作回應。途中一個歌迷向Leon說 : 「恭喜發財、身體健康！」Leon聽了後笑一笑。一位中年歌迷將日本雜誌交給他，說 : 「俾本 "贏" 你丫！」Leon回答 : 「我有喇.......你幫我贏多d啦！」就這樣你一言我一語來到禁區前，Leon進入禁區後向左右兩邊的歌迷都揮揮手，跟隨他到北京的尚有髮型師Sev、阿B、小清及一位女工作人員。只見阿B正側背著兩個大背囊，再拿著一個手提行李袋及Leon那件黑色Prada羽絨褸，有些狠狽，到了海關柜位前，阿B一垂手就將Leon那件羽絨褸掉在地上，這時Leon已過了柜位，正在過X-ray檢查，Leon又回頭和歌迷揮手，過了x-ray後又再揮手，非常開心啊。

當Leon和小清等阿B及女工作人員來到後乘電梯到下層，由阿B指路轉右，經過機場購物大道時，有兩個地勤人員上前向Leon要簽名，Leon爽快的答應了，簽好後又應他們的要求再加上款。當地勤人員離開後，Leon看到阿B那個狠狽相，就伸手輕聲問他要不要幫忙，B仔用手撥一撥示意不用，但Leon卻堅持，再伸出手搶來了一個 ~~~ 最細小的 ^_^

當經過機場公眾電話時，Leon停下來把玩那「輕觸式」螢幕，小清和那位女工作人員則朝登機閘口繼續行。這時另一名女機場人員過來，遞上一本他做封面的E-magazine問他要簽名，Leon看到雜誌，好奇地說 : 「呢本咩黎架？」

女 : 「e-magazine，雜誌黎架！」

Leon: 「我好耐冇睇呢d野喇！」

女 : 「o下？冇睇過？」

Leon : 「我冇時間丫嘛！」

女 : 「其實我都唔知呢本係咩黎架，頭先人地俾我o既。好似話係加州紅出o既。」

Leon : 「哦！加州紅！」

女 : 「有兩頁寫你架！」

Leon揭至那兩頁時，眼睛盯著「聰明的黎明」那段，說: 「借黎睇陣先得唔得呀？」

女 : 「得！梗係得啦！」

過了一會，阿B看到Leon白毛衫左手袖口上有幾粒黑毛毛，伸手去撥，Leon就將雜誌蓋上然後在上面簽名，再指著那個公眾電話問 : 「呢d係咪扲下就有野睇架？」

女 : 「應該就係o既，不過成日都壞 (他那部壞了)......你試下第二部啦。」

Leon : 「唔試咯，走咯！」然後離去。

27.01.2000 To Beijing for Channel-V award ceremony

At 12.20pm, Leon took the China Airline flight to Beijing to attend the Channel V award ceremony.

Fans already gathered early in the airport and at around 11.08am, Leon's van arrived. When Leon saw the fans waiting for him, he immediately waved to them from inside the van. At the same time, Chi Chuen and Stanley went to check in on Leon' behalf while Leon was temporarily driven away. After all the admin. was done, Leon descended from the van at 11.25am. Leon was wearing the very familiar white polo neck jumper and the same light green sunglasses that he wore in the charity walk. He was also wearing a dark brown loose trousers and black shoes. Leon was in very good form, while fans screamed "Good Morning!" from the other side of the road. Leon use his smile to replied. Once they cross the road, Stanley and co. accompanied Leon towards the departure area,

Since Fans saw that Leon was in a very happy mood, all were trying to have a chat with him. No matter what they asked, Leon either answered verbally, or use eye contact or smile to replied. On the way, one of the fans said to Leon "Happy New Year, Best of Health!" Leon smiled to her. Another middle aged fan had a Japanese magazine and said to him "There, I give you a "Winner*!" (* In Cantonese, "Book" has the same pronunciation as "lose", thus usually, many refer to as "Win" rather than lose). Leon answered " I have it already la...... you help me to "win" more la!" More conversation has been exchanged and soon they reached the customs entrance. When Leon was inside the customs area, Leon waved to the fans at the left and right. Together with him to Beijing was his hair stylist Sev, Ah Bee, Siu Ching and a female official. It can be seen that Ah Bee was carrying two big rusack, hand holding another hand luggage and also Leon's black Prada jacket. He seemed a little clumsy and while he reached at one of the customs counter, he dropped Leon's jacket by mistake. At that stage, Leon already passed the counter and was at the X rays check point. Leon looked back to waved to the fans again, and waved once more when he passed the X rays! Fans were very happy indeed!

When Leon and co. took the escalator to the lower floor, Ah Bee indicated to turn right, as they passed the duty free shopping area, two airport officials asked Leon for his autograph. Leon agreed happily and signed according to their preference. When Leon spotted Ah Bee's excess baggage, he stretched out his hand and asked did he need any help. Ah Bee declined his offer but being Leon, he insisted to help, so he grabbed one of the....... Smallest baggage ^_^

As they passed the airport public telephone, Leon stopped to "play" on one of those "touch screen" phones. Siu Ching and the other female official continued to walk towards the plane. Another female airport worker came up to Leon with a magazine ( E-Magazine with Leon on the cover) and asked him for his autograph. Leon was very curious about the magazine and asked "Which one is this?"

F: "E Magazine"

Leon: "I haven't seen these for a long time!"

F:" Eh? You haven't seen it before?"

Leon: "Yeah! I don't have time!"

F: "Actually, I am not too familiar with this magazine, someone give it to me earlier. They said it is issued by California Red Karaoke"

Leon: "Oh.. California Red!"

F: "There is an article about you inside!"

Leon flipped two pages and his eyes came in contact with the headline "The Cleverness of Leon", Leon then said " Can I lend of it to read?"

F: "Sure! Of Course!"

After a little while, Leon saw that there was some black fluff on the sleeve of Leon's jumper and use his hand to get rid of it; then Leon finished reading, and signed on the front of the magazine. He then pointed to the public telephone "Do you press these and there are some graphics?"

F: "There should be, but always faulty (that one was out of order)... you can try another one."

Leon: "Oh. It's OK, I have to go" and then he left and went towards the direction of the airplane.

2000年1月23日  公益金惠康東廊千禧行

今天Leon以黎明家族隊長身份率領Leon Family成員參加公益金百萬行。

家族成員約在8:05am開始由銅鑼灣皇室堡步向維多利亞今園VIP入口，各人手執家族派發的「LEON」字牌及紅色長膠條，沿路已十分觸目。大隊約在8:15am行至入口前，被守衛攔阻前進讓剛到的VIP進入，各人向路旁一望，原來正是Leon的保母車駛到，是Leon要在閘外下車呀！嘩！哈哈！大家當然停住腳步待Leon先行下車啦！

Leon身穿綠白相間公益金籌委風衣、藍色牛仔褲，配大大淺綠、和風衣顏色相襯的烏蠅墨鏡 (同來的Joe也戴同款淺紫墨鏡喎！)，明顯地沒有化裝，面上所有小墨墨都現形了，再加上墨鏡後那對和fans久別重逢的大眼袋，今天的Leon顯得很隨意，但卻是朝氣勃勃又風趣幽默！Leon甫下車已非常開心，向站在一旁的歌迷笑著揮手不斷說:「Hi、早晨！」，然後進入了台後(圖內1)。家族在Leon經過之後，又重拾隊型，排隊進入場地，然後站好。家族被編配的位置十分好，是對台正中央 (圖)，又正是記者所站位之前，加上台上兩位司儀又不斷介紹黎明家族伍，所以當隊伍進場後，已令記者不斷拍攝。

Leon約在8:35am於各護衛及記者簇擁下，由圖位1走到圖位2，來到隊伍前面和歌迷合照，歌迷當然沒有放過機會，「Leon早晨」之聲此起彼落，Leon也笑著點頭回應。拍照一輪後，Leon就站到商業電台隊前面，也就是黎明家族隊旁，互相只相隔一條欄杆，非常親近，歌迷當然開心至極。商台隊伍中歌迷最熟識的就是鄭丹瑞了。這時有線、ATV及TVB隊相繼到達，所有嘉賓都經Leon所站位置(看圖)，Leon也做個稱職主人家，逐一歡迎。先是林文龍和宣萱來到，Leon一見林文龍，立刻親切地開聲和他打招呼，互拍肩膊交談一會，然後又見到李兆基，熱烈地握手，寒喧數句。

當步行嘉賓都到場後，Leon無聊地望一望手錶，這時應是8:50am，網主早已見到陳善之站在Leon身旁，此時他並無與人交談，網主就向他打個招呼: 「Joe！」Joe望過來，網主和身旁歌迷:「早晨！」，怎料Leon聽到歌迷和Joe打招呼，又望過來好像說: 「我呢？」大家唯有再跟他說: 「Leon早晨！」各位想到Leon說什麼嗎？Leon眨一眨眼笑著說: 「講左好多次喇！」@@.......(為之氣結的寫照！)

這時特首董建華及夫人到場，和前排隊員握手，經過Leon時，兩人也分別和Leon握手及交談。

大概距離出發時間不多，天正下毛毛雨，子泉遞上一頂灰色漁夫帽，Leon毫不猶豫地戴上。隊伍負責人想叫隊員先到後場、即商台隊的欄杆後面排隊，方便隊伍出發時秩序更好，可是當部份前排歌迷走開後，在旁的Leon察覺到，立刻向歌迷說 : 「等陣先....唔好咁心急，我未走！」，因此其餘歌迷就沒有移步到後場，而Leon也隨即轉身望向正在後面排隊的歌迷，輕輕地和她們揮手....(不知是否也在示意她們應當回來他身旁站好)。Leon多站一會後，就被大會人員安排走到台側(圖位4)準備剪綵儀式，臨離開黎明家族隊伍前，再向前排歌迷叮囑一句:「我未走架....唔駛驚！」再指一指台後，然後才走向那邊。

剪綵儀式前，司儀逐一宣佈剪綵嘉賓上台，Leon以「黎明家族隊長」身份上台，站在政務司司長劉李麗娟和百萬行贊助商「惠康超級市場」代表之間，在台上Leon不時和劉李女士及惠康那位外藉人仕代表談話。剪綵後，Leon和各嘉賓到台下準備起步，Leon在步下台之際仍不忘遙望一下黎明家族所在地啊！

9:10am步行正式開始，Leon回到商台隊伍中一同起步，黎明家族則在商台隊之後，在「黎明家族」大橫額後，各隊員都整齊地舉步，慢慢行出維多利亞公園，此時雨就開始變大了！步出公園，過了隧道，正式登上東區走廊，此時Leon稍稍落後於商台隊伍，倒和步屐較快的歌迷相遇上。Leon由Stanley、secure及隨員包圍住，子泉拿著雨傘為Leon擋雨，而Leon仍戴著那頂漁夫帽。

在走廊行了一段路，差不多所有歌迷都來到圍住Leon一起步行，雖然雨勢極大，不過歌迷都熱烈地輪流在旁和Leon打招呼，Leon也開心地回應。途中Leon雙手從上至下比劃自己的身體然後說: 「濕哂！」歌迷都笑哈哈........(因為我們連頭髮也已滴水了！)，後來Leon向歌迷說 : 「唔得就唔好死頂呀！」。Leon在步行中常常雙手掌心向天地漫游，好像演唱會中唱「酸」時的Moon Walk，口中又唸唸有詞，不知是否爭取時間在唸歌詞呢？！有個中年歌迷走前問Leon : 「Leon，點解你今日會咁開心o既？」.......(好奇怪的問題！) 因此....Leon扮了一個「嬲怒」的樣子向著她......(表示: 難道你喜歡我這樣？)，然後立刻又笑了！有記者走到Leon前面，舉起相機大叫 : 「Leon，望上面！」(叫Leon向上望他的相機)，Leon聽了，立刻抬頭望天，逗得歌迷又笑哈哈！

這段歡笑路終於走完，北角橋上分叉口有輛大旅遊車停泊，這是VIP隊的終站，大約是全程的四分之一，想走的人可以下橋，想完成整個行程的人可以繼續。眾人來到時，Stanley就維護著Leon上車，可是同時也有其他人員想上車，Leon就先讓他們，歌迷就在此地和他近距離一同站立半分鐘，Leon上車後，歌迷就來到下橋位等候。過了五分鐘，當黎明家族隊員全部到抵達後，隊伍負責人就安排大家蹲下，其後天恩下車來叫大家保持安靜，然後上車通知Leon下車，蹲在前排和隊伍來個大合照啊！完成後，Leon和大家說 :「辛苦哂，加油呀！」然後在9:50am回到旅遊車上。此時大隊分為二，一些人離開，一些人繼續。

Leon回到旅遊車上，為記者做訪問。步下橋的歌迷則在橋下看到Leon那輛保母車在守候。B仔在10:20am將車駛上橋的半途等候Leon，Leon則在Stanley等陪同下，由橋上步行下來，Leon上車之前仍開心地向橋下等候的歌迷揮手，然後才上車離去。

23.01.2000 Community Chest Charity Walk

Today, Leon acts as the team leader of Leon Family, to lead them in the charity walk for Community Chest. Family members began to gather in Causeway Bay and moved towards the Victoria Park VIP entrance. Every member had plastic red flags, "Leon" cardboard's in their hands, and it is attracted many attention along the way. The team arrived at the entrance at 8.15am, but were stopped by the security guards there, to let some one in,. The team stopped and look, but it was none than other Leon's van arriving! Leon had to get off before the gates! Of course, everyone stopped to let Leon in first!

Leon was wearing a green Community Chest anorak, blue jeans with a big green matching colour dark glasses! ( Joe, who also came along, had the same style glasses!) It was obvious that Leon had little or no makeup on, since his moles were visible to the eye! Leon's "eye" bags can also be seen from behind the glasses! Leon was in a very relaxed mood, but with full of energy and in a great sense of humour! Leon descended from the van, smiling and fans on one side began waving to Leon and saying "Hi! Good Morning!" Then, Leon walked into backstage (pic 1). Family members waited for Leon to go inside first and then regrouped again, queuing to get inside. Family members were seated at a very good place, just in the centre infront of the stage (see pic), which was also just infront of the media. Since the two commentator of the day kept introducing the Leon family team, the journalists there kept taking photographs!

At 8.35am, under security guards and the surrounding of the media, Leon walked from pic 1 to pic 2 to take a grand photo with the Leon family team. Of course, fans didn't waste this opportunity and "Leon, Good Morning!" can be heard from all sides. After a session of photographs, Leon stood in front of the Commercial Radio team, with Leon Family at the side. Since there were only one barrier between them, fans were very thrilled! In the Commercial Radio team, Cheng Dang Sui must be the most well known among the team. Also, Cable TV, ATV and TVB team also began to arrive. All the guests passed where Leon were standing (see pic). Acting as the host, Leon welcomed everyone. When some guests that Leon knew arrived, Leon greeted them warmly and shaked hands. When nearly all guests arrived, Leon looked at his watch, which was 8.50am. Webmaster saw Joe Chan was standing beside Leon, and wasn't talking to anyone, so webmaster called him "Joe". Joe looked over, webmaster and some fans said " Good Morning!" However, Leon heard fans said good morning to Joe, and he gestured "What about me?" So everyone said to Leon "Good Morning, Leon!" Does anyone know how Leon replied? Leon, blinked his eye and laughed said " Said many times already!" @@..... ( Leon, how could you!!)

At the same time, Mr. and Mrs. Tung Chee Wa arrived, first they shaked hands with the official there, and as they passed Leon, they stopped and shaked hands and talk to him. Around starting time, the rain began to pelt down, Chi Chuen already had a hat ready for Leon, Leon immediately put it on. The organisers wanted the teams to wait backstage, queuing behind commercial radio team, so that there will not be any chaos. So when part of the fans began to move, Leon saw this and said to the fans immediately said " Wait a little!...... Don't worry, I am not going yet!" Thus, the rest of the team didn't go to the back. Leon also calmly waved to the fans who were queuing infront.... (was it to asked them to stand beside him again?). Leon stood a little while and then the organisers asked him to stand at the side of the stage (pic 4) to standby for the opening ceremony. Before leaving the family team, he said to them "Don't worry, I am not going!", as he pointed to the stage and he walked towards it.

At the opening ceremony, commentator asked to guests to go on stage, Leon acted as the Leon Family team leader to go on stage, standing beside the government official and the walk's sponsor Wellcome supermarket representative. Leon was talking to both of them on stage. Leon and rest of the guest began to get ready for the walk and as he stepped down from the stage, he still looked over at where Leon Family was!

At 9.10am, the walk officially began. Leon returned to the commercial radio team, while Leon Family team were behind them; holding a big "Leon Family" banner. Everyone walked slowly out of Victoria park, while the rain began to pour down! As they passed the tunnel, onto the east way by pass, Leon walked slower and were at the back of the commercial radio team, while fans began to catch up with him! Leon were surrounded by Stanley and the security team, while Chi Chuen had an umbrella for Leon. Leon was still wearing his hat .

As they walked some distance, nearly all fans were surrounded Leon as they walked. Although the rain was very heavy, but it didn't deter the fan's determination; and waving to Leon at the same time! On the way, Leon pointed to his body, gesturing that he is "wet through!" Fans were laughing...... (Because everyone is wet through too!) Leon then said to fans " Don't push yourself if you cannot make it!" As Leon was walking, his hands were roaming too, just like the moonwalking that he did when he was singing "Sour" in his concert! He was also talking to himself, wondering maybe the lyrics also? Then a middle age fan asked Leon " Leon, why are you so happy today?"... (what a strange question!) Thus... Leon showed a pretence "angry" face and starred at her ... (saying: Do you actually want me to be like that?), then laughed again! Some journalist ran forward to take some photographs, and asked Leon to "Look Up" (as to look at his camera) while Leon looked right up into the sky! His action made all the fans laughed!

This happy journey came to an end. Towards the bridge at North Point, where there was some coaches, this was the end stage for the VIPs, which is around one quarter of the way. Those who wanted to leave can descend from the bridge, while those who wanted to complete the journey continued. Stanley accompanied Leon into the coach, but some other guests wanted to get into the coach first, so Leon let them in first. SO the fans stood with Leon for around half a minute. As Leon got into the coach, fans stood at the bottom of the bridge to wait. Five minutes later, when all the Leon Family members arrived, the team organisers asked everyone to position themselves. Then Tin Yan asked Leon to get off the coach to posed for the grand photo! After that, Leon said to the team "Keep up the hard work!". At 9.50am, he returned to the coach. The team then split into two, some left while others continued on.

Leon returned to the coach to do some interview for the media. As fans were walking towards the bottom of the bridge, they saw Leon's van waiting for him. At 10.20am, Ah Bee drove the van half way up the bridge to wait for Leon. Accompanied by Stanley, Leon walked slowly down the bridge, to meet the van. Before leaving, Leon didn't forget to wave to the fans at the same time.

2000年1月22日  黎明與你拉闊全接觸

今天是Leon在2000年首次公開與歌迷見面的活動，所以大群歌迷早已齊集在美麗華商場內外，甚至停車場出入口等候Leon大駕。活動是卡拉OK比賽，九位參賽者唱Leon的歌，評判團內有梁天恩及陳永明。由於商場狹窄，VIP區的座位也不多，大部份歌迷都是站在台的右方或是在台左那個玻璃門外。比賽約由3:45pm開始。

Leon這位頒獎嘉賓約在4:25pm已乘坐保母車到達美麗華停車場，下車後由大會安排一個安全地方讓他等候出場，保母車則駛離停車場。

當九位參賽者獻唱完畢，Leon就在主持人和現場所有人的歡叫聲之下，乘專用升降機進場。Leon身穿粉藍高領毛衣、外加白色PVC質料中褸，配淺藍色牛仔褲、深色皮鞋，戴著墨鏡的Leon心情非常好，走到台上時聽到站在台右的歌迷在叫，立刻望向歌迷笑著揮手，轉眼見到台左街外歌迷在揮手，Leon又立刻揮手示意。狹小的台下VIP區則湧滿了攝影記者，足足圍了三圈，Leon的魅力的確驚人啊！

Leon上了台，主持人梁奕倫問Leon最近有什麼工作，Leon回應說 : 「今日係星期六，係休息o既日子，唔好講工作啦！」梁就問Leon :「咁你頭先去左邊度玩呀？」Leon回答 : 「我頭先咪聽緊參加者唱歌囉！」梁 : 「係呀！o係一個好隱蔽o既地方？」Leon : 「係呀，不過都聽得好清楚架！」梁又問 : 「新年去邊度呀？」Leon : 「我諗留o係香港......o既機會不大。」

接著Leon就宣佈冠亞季軍得主，然後和他們合照，又和評判一齊合照，其後又抽出一位幸運兒得到四驅車一部，那位得獎女仕上台接過Leon手上那條大鑰匙後和Leon合照，歌迷心中所想 :「這幅合照才是最大禮物啊！」然後Leon就下台向專用升降機，途中有站在台右的歌迷送上禮物，Leon也開心的迎上前來接，然後才進升降機。

Leon離開表演台後，歌迷就蜂擁到停車場出口等候，警察先生、商場Secure及Stanley Team Secure都跑來維持秩序，由於圍觀人數太多，警方將停車場前面道路由原來的雙線雙程行車變成單線雙程行車。約在5:10pm，B仔駕保母車進停車場接載Leon，數分鐘後，Leon真的從這個出口離開。先看到坐在司機位的B仔笑著和歌迷揮手，再看到坐在後座的Leon將上身恭前向歌迷揮手，笑得很甜很開心，歌迷當然樂透了，大家圍著保母車一起慢行轉出彌敦道，身穿紅衣紅褲的Stanley今天出奇的緊張，什至從後用手執著歌迷扔開，哦？大伙兒行到彌敦道時，仍然捨不得放棄，衝出路中，還好警察先生早已將車輛截停，讓Leon的保母車先走，不過在歌迷攔路之下，保母車仍然慢駛，更有歌迷在路中向Leon顯示禮物，子泉也有開窗將禮物收下 ~~ 可知Leon心情是如何的好啦！擾攘一番後，保母車終於絕塵而去。

22.01.2000 Leon Karaoke Live

Today is the first public appearance of Leon of 2000. Thus, already there gathered a large crowd of fans waiting from outside Miramar Centre to the carpark entrance, in order to catch a glimpse of Leon! Today's event is a Karaoke Competition, nine contestants singing Leon's songs, while the judge of the day was Tin Yan and Leo Chan. Because the shopping centre itself is quite narrow, with VIP seats are limited, most fans had to stand either on the right hand side of the stage, or outside the glass door on the left. The competition started at 3.45pm.

Leon was the prize presenter, and he arrived at 4.25pm. As he descended from his van, the organisers arranged him to be in a safe place, before going on stage (his van then drove off). As the nine contestants finished singing, under the host's introduction and fan's scream, Leon arrived on stage in the pre arranged elevator. Leon was wearing a light blue polo neck jumper, white PVC jacket, light blue jeans and dark colour shoes. Wearing sunglasses, Leon was in an extremely good humour, and as he went on stage, he immediately waved to the fans. There were more fans outside on the street, and Leon waved to them also. The very small VIP area were packed with journalists, with such a huge number of the media present, they made three layers of people around Leon! Such is the popularity of Leon!

Once Leon was on stage, the host asked Leon what work is he involved at the moment and Leon responded "Today is Sat, a day of rest, don't talk about work!" Then he asked "Then where did you go to play beforehand?" Leon said "I was listening to the contestants singing!" The host then asked " Really? In a hidden place?" Leon said "Yes! But I can hear it perfectly!" He then asked Leon " Where will you be in the Chinese New Year?" Leon said "Hmm.. I think the chance of me being in Hong Kong is ........... quite slim" Leon then announced the winners of the competition and they took photos with Leon. Then together with the judges, they all took a grand photo. Then Leon picked a lucky winner in the draw for the prize of a car. The lucky winner went on stage and Leon presented her with the key.She took a photo with Leon (fans all think that the photo with Leon is the BEST prize!)

Leon then left the stage and used the pre arranged elevator as before. On the way, fans from left and right handed gifts to Leon. Leon happily received them before entering the elevator. As Leon left the stage, fans all stormed towards the Miramar Car park. Police, the shopping centre security and the security team of Stanley all followed inorder to keep some discipline. Since there were too many people watching, the police had to made the road into an one way instead of the usual two way traffic. At around 5.10pm, Ah Bee drove the van to collect Leon, a couple of minutes later, Leon really exited from there. First, we can see that Ah Bee was very friendly waving to fans; while Leon in the backseat and he leaned forward to waved to the fans. His smile was very sweet and very cheerful. The fans of course was thrilled! Everyone surrounded the van and slowly drove towards Nathan Road. Stanley, who was wearing red top, red trousers seemed very anxious, he even used his hand to move aside the fans?? As the crowd slowly walked onto Nathan road, still didn't want to leave Leon. The police were prepared for this. So they stopped all over cars and let Leon's van drove off first. But fans were still in the way. Some fans ran on to the road in order to give Leon some presents. Chi Chuen rolled down the window to accept the gifts! Thus, it shows that Leon was in such a good mood! Then the van picked up speed and jetted off.

2000年1月6日  一人一樹為公益

今天是Leon當上公益金籌委後首次出席公益金的活動，早上8:30am開始，香港公園內陸續有歌迷到來等候Leon，Stanley也早就和幾個「黑衣人」到場，看過場地之後，就到公園入口迎接Leon。

Leon在9:07am坐保母車到達，穿上黃色宣傳Tee、淺草綠色長褲、灰夾海藍綴以橙色鞋帶的新款A字鞋，戴上淺啡太陽鏡。歌迷自律地保持距離和Leon打招呼，Leon也很開懷地和歌迷說「早晨」。有歌迷對Leon說 : 「好耐冇見你！」 Leon跳皮地反問 :「有幾耐呀？」。歌迷問Leon睡得夠不夠，Leon回答 : 「我通宵冇訓呀！」歌迷們 : 「o下！做乜呀？」Leon 做一個「較剪」手勢說 : 「剪片。」不過Leon看來非常精神和開心。當Leon走進園地，歌迷就在外張望，人群之中也可看清Leon的舉動。

Leon在約9:10am進入園地後，立刻被其他籌委包圍，後來一些人領他到食物桌旁拿東西吃喝，Leon拿起三文治和熱飲，立刻吃喝，他又拿了一件給Stanley陪他一起吃。Leon看來整晚工作太投入，沒有時間吃宵夜，所以在短短十分鐘就吃了四件小三文治、三杯東西。

約9:20am娛樂記者就圍上來做訪問，Leon就選了一個樹旁坐下來回應記者們的問題。說了十多分鐘後，有人走過去通知Leon行出園地正式入口 (歌迷聚集之處)，在此之前，站在入口一旁的歌迷已經看到董特首夫人並且和她說早安，董夫人也很隨和地回應，什至指著其中一位媽媽輩歌迷的上衣說她也有相同的一件哩！當Leon來到入口就看到董夫人正由政務總署署長劉李麗娟、藍鴻掁、譚惠珠、譚王易明等等陪同下來到，Leon揚起左手熟絡地向董夫人笑笑地問安 : 「早晨！」，這時董夫人已申出右手來握，並說: 「早晨， Leon！」.......(呵！呵！很親切，不是黎先生或黎明先生，當然更不會是乜水啦！) 此時Leon右邊身旁一位公益金籌委指著Leon向董夫人說了一句話...(網主估計是向董夫人說Leon剛成為新任籌委)，然後董夫人就拉著Leon的手道 : 「係呀？！」，接著和Leon邊走邊談的進入園地。

董夫人到場後，儀式正式開始，各人是背著入口站的，所以歌迷看不清Leon及嘉賓的臉。最先是各嘉賓致辭，雖然歌迷聽不清演辭內容，不過當Leon拍手時歌迷也跟著拍手，可能Leon知道這一點，所以他拍手時，雙手是放在身旁拍的，所以歌迷都可以清楚看見。其後Leon更與嘉賓們一起動手栽種。

最後致辭的嘉賓是Leon！致辭完畢後， 所有嘉賓就來個大合照，然後是園地內一班小朋友唱歌，及後Leon又拉小朋友到嘉賓們的旁邊一同拍照留念。拍過照後，Leon就著手分給小朋友每人一包種子栽種，小朋友在等待Leon分派時都很雀躍啊！

這時所有儀式已完結，Leon再次被傳媒鏡頭包圍，Leon就選了一棵樹來作背景拍照。然後再和傳媒做訪問直至10:15am才完結。Leon由原路走出香港公園，歌迷當然亦步亦趨地送Leon上車，Leon和歌迷揮手道別後保母車才駛離。

06.01.2000 Community Chest Charity Plantation

Today is the first Community Chest charity event Leon had taken part since becoming a committee member. The event began at 8.30am, while fans began to pour into Hong Kong Park to wait for Leon. Stanley had already arranged a couple of the "Men in Black" to stand by. After checking the ground, he went to the entrance to let Leon in.

Leon arrived in his van at 9.07am. He was wearing yellow promotion tee, dark green trousers and a new style yellow-green Acupuncture runners; he was wearing brown sunglasses. The fans were very orderly and kept a distance from Leon while waving to him. Leon was very happy and said to fans "Hello!". Some fans said to Leon " Haven't seen you for long time!" Leon cheekily replied "How Long?" Fans asked Leon did he sleep enough? Leon replied "I didn't sleep last night!" Fans asked "Why? What did you do?" Leon gestured a cutting sign, saying "Editing!" Leon didn't look one bit tired! When Leon went inside, fans were waiting outside, but can still see Leon among the crowd.

Leon went inside at 9.10am, and were surrounded by other committee members. Then someone brought in some food etc. Leon took some sandwich and drinks and began to eat. He then gave some to Stanley and they ate together. Looks like Leon was busy working last night and didn't get a chance to eat, because in 10 minutes, Leon ate around four small sandwiches and three cups of hot drinks.

At around 9.20am, journalists surrounded Leon to do an interview. Leon choose to speak to them in the shades under a tree. After 10mins, Leon was asked to go to the entrance of the garden (where the fans are) At the same time, some fans spotted Mrs. Tung and said Good Morning. Mrs Tung was very nice and happily replied. She even pointed to some of the elder fans and said she has the exactly same jacket! When Leon went in, he saw Mrs. Tung and other government officials walking in, and Leon, being very familiar smiled and greeted Mrs. Tung "Good Morning". Mrs. Tung shaked Leon's hand and said "Good Morning, Leon!".... ( Ha ha, Very warm and close, not just Mr. Lai, or Mr. Leon Lai and definitely not "So So"!) An Community Chest official who was on Leon's right whispered something to Mrs. Tung (webmaster guessed that telling her that Leon became a committee member) and then Mrs. Tung held Leon's hand and said "Really?!". They walked together into the park.

When Mrs. Tung arrived, the ceremony began. Since the guests had their back to the fans, thus we cannot see Leon or the guests face. Guests began to gave their speech, although fans cannot hear what they were saying, but when they saw Leon clapped, they followed suit. Maybe Leon knew that fans cannot see him, thus when he clapped, his hand were at the side so that fans can see clearly. Then Leon and the guests began the plantation.

Leon was the ultimate guest to give the speech. When he finished, all the guests posed for one grand photo. Then they began to sang with the children inside. Leon took some photographs with the children there! After the photos, Leon gave each child some seeds to plant. The children were extremely excited when waiting for Leon for the seeds!

When the whole ceremony finished, Leon was once again surrounded by the media. Leon chose to take photos underneath a tree. He continued to give interview until 10.15am. Leon walked slowly to exit the park. Fans accompanied him until he reached his van. Leon waved to fans goodbye before leaving in his van.

1999年12月31日-2000年1月1日  龍騰燈耀慶千禧

綵排 : Leon 今天大批工作隨員陪同下，約在1:30pm到達跑馬地為節目進行綵排，和Leon一同綵排的有韓國舞隊 ~~ 嘩，花費不菲啊！綵排歌曲當然是Happy2000囉！綵排約在2:30pm結束。

今天Leon fans最早在10:00am已抵達跑馬地門外排隊等候進場，絕大部份的門票是讓觀眾坐在「公眾席」的，距離舞台非常遙遠，不過為了和Leon一起迎接一個Happy2000年，順道顯示Leon fans的團結和凝聚力，所以大家還是一早去排隊。

節目由10:20pm開始，Leon 的舞隊及Thomas King早在8:45pm已經到場，而Leon在大會安排下，約在11:57pm才第一次露面，走出舞台左面等待「倒數」.....(唉，Leon慣性地「躲藏」，總是站在第一排人的後面和其他人寒喧)。Leon最初站在唐季禮演後面，和一些歌手說話和互祝，其間谷德昭導演走過來親熱地和他擁抱，後來Leon和張國榮握手後越站越到舞台左面，和王菲站到沒有舞台燈處的地方，一起舉頭看那美麗的煙花，Leon看到好看的，自然就出現一個O型咀: 嘩！

在倒數後，Leon又出台合唱「千禧歌」。整晚嘉賓席的觀眾非常沉靜，可是當Leon步出舞台的一刻，才感覺到原來他們也可以這樣興奮的！Leon穿黑西裝、白襯衫、紅領帶，唱完自己那一Part站在台前，常常四處張望，好奇下一位歌手會在舞台哪一個地方出場.....(舞台實在很大！)

唱完後，Leon和歌手們站在台前，Leon就轉頭和「小黑」柯受良打招呼，這時董特首和一眾高官相繼離去，董特首和歌手們揮手，Leon卻因為轉了頭而看不見，後來回過頭來，忽然看到董特首正向他揮手，Leon立刻向他密密揮手。

Leon真正的表演是在1:20am才開始，唱了三首歌 : 「有空請愛我」、「Sugar in the Mamalade」及「Happy2000」 (演唱部份有電蜆畫面，不寫了 )，演唱完畢，Leon回到後台，坐在保母車內被記者訪問。大約十分鐘後，坐車離去。Leon的心情很好，坐在車內沒有脫下那頂橙色帽，然後由車窗向歌迷說 Happy New Year。

31.12.99-01.01.00 RTHK Millennium Show

Rehearsal: Accompanied by his team, Leon arrived at Happy Valley for rehearsal at 1.30pm. Korean dancers also accompanied Leon for rehearsal, wow! The budget must be very high! Of course, "Happy 2000" was the rehearsal song! it finished at around 2.30pm.

Leon fans arrived at Happy Valley race course at 10.00am. The majority of the fans' tickets were seated in the "Audience Area", it is quite far from the stage. But because we can accompanied Leon to see Year 2000, also to show the unity of Leon Fans, fans didn't mind to queue early.

The Show began at 10.20pm. Leon, with his dancers and Thomas King, arrived at the ground at 8.45pm. Under the arrangement of the organisers, Leon appeared first on stage at 11.57pm. He was at the left hand side of the stage waiting for the countdown... (sigh! Leon, being his usual "low key", stood behind the first row and hidden from the cameras) Firstly Leon stood behind director Tong Kwai Lai, talking to a crowd of other singers. In the meantime, director Guk Dak Chiu came over and gave Leon a hug, then Leon shaked hands with Leslie Cheung. Then Leon began to moved further back into the stage. He then stood next to Faye Wong. They stood together behind the stage lights, enjoying the fireworks together. When Leon saw some spectacular fireworks, we can see Leon's "O" shape lips.. "Wah!"

After the countdown, Leon went back to the stage to sing the "Millennium Song". In general, the whole night went very quietly but when Leon stepped onto the stage, then the atmosphere was at "fever pitch"!! Leon was wearing a black suit, white shirt, red tie. When he finished singing, he stood at the front of the stage looking around, trying to see where did the next singer will arrive ... ( the stage was very big!")

When he finished, Leon and other singers stood at the front of the stage, Leon greeted Or Sau Leung. At the same time, Chief Executive Tung Chee Wa and other government officials were leaving, Tung were waving at the singers. Leon was looking at the other way, thus didn't see him; but when Leon looked back and saw Tung waving to him, he then very sweetly waved back.

Leon's official performance began at 1.20am. He sang three songs, "Have Time Please Love Me" "Sugar In The Marmalade" and "Happy 2000" . When he finished and went backstage, he was sitting in his van being interviewed by the press. Around 10 minutes later, Leon left the scene. Leon was in a very merry mood and when he was in the van, he took off his green cap and looked out of the window to wish fans "Happy New Year"
